Gaping Issues

Blazer: J.Crew Factory // Top: H&M (similar here) // Jeans: Silver Jeans c/o // Shoes: Target (similar here and here) // Necklace: Ebay (similar here)

Those of who who have followed me for a while know that I love finding deals. I rarely buy things at full price. I paid $5 for the purple turtleneck and $15 for the silver heels. This gorgeous blazer from J.Crew Factory, however, was quite a bit more expensive. I did cringe a little when I submitted my order but I decided it was worth it. Why? Because I've been searching fruitlessly for a blazer for the past year. I've found great deals on ones in stores like H&M and Forever 21 but they always looked completely terrible on me. My not-so-small chest resulted in weird gaping and bunching. They do seem to work well for women with smaller chests though. That's why when I saw this blazer on sale at J.Crew Factory, I decided to go for it. I'm so glad that I did because it fits wonderfully! No weird gaping in any areas! Alright, enough about chest issues.

My little girly girl is obsessed with my makeup. Not so much with applying it but more with sticking her fingers in it and wiping it everywhere. A few days ago I was doing a little eye shadow experimentation with one of my makeup palettes. I left the palette on a table (I guess at the edge) and went into our bathroom to grab some other makeup supplies and came back to find a palette with a gouged blue shadow lying on the floor and little blue fingerprints the surrounding it. If Eve is like me then she probably thinks that the carpet in our apartment is pretty ugly. Sadly it's not an ugliness that can be fixed my makeup. Nice try, though, Eve.

  6. I am the same way. I only buy clearance stuff...but occasionally, after searching for a long time for something I just splurge.
