Although I may be standing in a couple of inches of snow here, don't be fooled. I am not a fan of snow. I'm not a skiier or snowboarder. I don't like being cold. I hate driving on slippery roads. I grew up in Australia where it's summer at this time of year and therefore our Christmas songs are about sitting by the pool and wearing flip flops. No joke, that's from the Australian version of Jingle Bells. However, this year I haven't hated the snow quite as much as I usually do. The reason? My little two-year-old cutie who absolutely loves it. On the days it has snowed, she looks out the window and her eyes just light up. She'll turn to me and say, "Mummy, snow!" Every time we go outside she immediately walks over to the nearest patch of snow and stomps in it. So, for these fun little moments, thank you, snow. Thank you but feel free not to stay for very long. Or do because that would make Eve happy. I don't know, I'm torn.
