Feeling Thrifty

Thrift shopping for maternity clothes is extremely hit and miss. Mostly misses. Generally everything is very old, very worn, and just plain unattractive. I would guess this is because women hold on to their maternity clothes throughout the majority of their childbearing years. So, ten or more years after their creation, these well used clothes end up at the thrift store. Despite this, whenever I'm at a thrift store, I like to take a quick glance through the maternity section. Rarely, and I mean rarely, I am rewarded with a gem like the top I'm wearing here. A gem that cost a mere $3. It would have been a crime to pass that up!

On an entirely different note, did you see the hair tutorial I posted yesterday? I may or may not have done my hair like that for the three days in a row...

Other ways I've worn: black blazer

  2. Wow that's an excellent find! I feel your pain, when I was pregnant, they were all misses. I resorted to tunic maternity tanks from Target and cardigans. (; You are far trendier. Have a great weekend! (:

  3. That top is gorgeous! And $3? No way! Same here, I am always frustrated when I go thrift shopping, I always feel like it's a matter of luck. Not sure! But I haven't gone on thrift shopping before. Maybe I could give it another try sometime soon :)

If you have a sec, I'd love for you to come over my blog and share your thoughts on my latest. xo
