Red and Black

As soon as my belly popped this pregnancy, I started looking for red maternity jeans or jeggings. I get too bored wearing blue denim all the time. I need some variety in my legwear. Unfortunately it was a very unfruitful search. Eventually I came up with solution. I bought some non-maternity jeggings in a size up that I could wear unbuttoned with a belly band. I'm pretty happy with how it has worked out!
I'm getting pretty excited for this new little girl to join our family! If she comes a week early like her big sister, then she could be here in under two weeks! My Braxton Hicks contractions have definitely been ramping up. On Saturday evening, I had about 10 painful contractions an hour for four hours. My husband was pretty convinced that I was going to have the baby that night. I, however, really doubted it. I'm guessing this is just the way it's going to be for a couple of weeks. Contractions on and off so I'll be constantly wondering if they're going to turn into the real thing. While it would be nice if she came early, I'm fine if it's not quite yet. I want her to be born at the best and most healthy time for her. So until then I'll just enjoy all of the contracting, waddling, and constant bathroom visits.
Other ways I've worn: black fringe booties
