Postpartum Style: Boxy Sequin Top

Top: J Crew Factory (similar here and here) // Pants: thrifted (similar here) // Shoes: Chase & Chloe (similar here) // Sunglasses: Tory Burch (similar here) // Watch: Kate Spade // Bracelets; H&M, Target (similar here and here) // Earrings: Forever 21 (similar here) // Nails: Essie Petal Pushers

The boxy cut of this sequin top makes it perfect for postpartum outfits. Boxy tops are very forgiving because they don't cling to your midsection. Plus the sequins are pretty distracting so people probably won't be focusing on anything else ha ha.

This was my Easter outfit this year. Usually it would involve a dress or skirt that I would wear to church but this year LDS General Conference fell on Easter weekend so we spent the day at home. I still felt like I should dress up a little though, if only for dinner with family. I really enjoyed Easter this year, not only because of conference and the opportunity to focus more on the Savior, but also because of Eve and Lily. It's so fun to watch Eve get excited over Easter egg hunting and to see her eyes light up when she first saw her Easter basket filled with goodies. Lily wasn't as excited about her basket but I guess I'll forgive her since she's only three weeks old ;)
