Moving and Wide Leg Trousers

Moving houses when you have two small children is no mean feat. Especially when one of those children is a two-year-old who likes to remove things from boxes as you are packing them. Add in the extra pressure of keeping everything spotless for the potential renters that your landlord is bringing through the house and you've got yourself one big party. Oh, and also add having a nasty cold into the mix. Yep, it's a blast.

However, one of the benefits to moving is that it's forced me to go through all of my clothes. If I haven't worn something in a year, it goes in either the "to sell" or "to give away" pile. I was trying to decide where to put the wide leg trousers I'm wearing in this post. I felt like I hadn't given these pants enough of a chance. So, I thought I would give them one last hurrah. And that is how this outfit came about. But I'm still undecided about them. I think they'll look even better once they're a little looser on me but I wish the length was a little longer. Decisions, decisions.

Other ways I've worn: mint button up shirt

  4. First off, yay on the exciting move! I know it's stressful, especially with a grabby toddler, but just think how great it will be once it's done? Secondly, feel better! It's always a downer to have a cold when you are trying to accomplish something.

I think this outfit is very "Boho professional." Somewhere between business and casual, with a little 70's vibe. However, after having my daughter, I stuck to a strict if I don't love it, lose it rule and I've been happier ever since. Not to mention I think not only our bodies change, but we change as well. Regardless, these pants are stunning, but don't keep them unless they make you feel great! (:
