Now This is a Statement Necklace

Statement jewelry can really take an outfit from boring to chic. If I had just been wearing this tee and jeans, this look would have been pretty unremarkable and not very blog worthy. This gorgeous crystal statement necklace from Happiness Boutique takes this look to another level. I actually wanted to keep my outfit fairly simple to keep the focus on this gorgeous piece of jewelry. Trying to pick a necklace from this store was not easy. I had about twelve tabs open with different necklaces in each one. I just loved how much of a statement that this statement necklace really made. The great thing about Happiness Boutique is that they have free shipping

Statement jewelry can really take an outfit from boring to chic. If I had just been wearing my tee and jeans, this look would have been pretty unremarkable and not very blog worthy. The great thing about Happiness Boutique is that they have free shipping (yay!) and a customer reward program. Which is pretty great because if you're like me, you're probably not going to be able to keep yourself from getting just one thing from this store.

One other thing about this outfit- I swear that this top is slightly green. Every time I photograph it, it just looks black though. Even on Target's website I think they call it black. But, seriously, it is quite green. That's what attracted me to it in the first place. I would consider it a heathered shirt, I suppose, since the color is somewhat mottled. So, guys, my shirt is not just black. It's a little more fun that that. For some reason I am very concerned about this topic ha.

I attempted to shop the Nordstrom anniversary sale in-store yesterday. I should have just stuck to online shopping. Why? Because I brought my two-year-old and four-month-old with me. The four-month-old was kind enough to fall asleep in the store but my two-year-old was not cool with hanging out in the stroller. She wanted to walk around, hide in the clothes racks, find other kids to play with, and go up and down the escalator. So, my shopping trip was a bit of a bust. It's online shopping for me until my kids are perfectly behaved children. So, forever, I guess.

Other ways I've worn: black/green tee
