Okay, guys. I've worn this skirt on the blog a lot. I just can't help myself. Sunday rolls around and I reach for it almost every time. Can you blame me? It has a gorgeous floral print and the mirror effect just makes it so much more fun than a typical floral print skirt. I also love the color palette. You might not have guessed this from these pictures, but I love pink. I thought about wearing different shoes with this, in fear that it would be too much pink, but then I just thought, can you really have too much pink? Actually, yes, as evidenced by this:

Fortunately, since I have some other hues in my outfit, I think I can get away with the large amount of pink in my outfit. I typically wear this skirt with a solid colored top but this time I decided to have a little bit of fun with pattern mixing. Every time I do this and my mum sees my outfit, she tells me "that would have been such a no-no when I was younger." What can I say, I'm a rebel.

On Friday I took Eve to her first dance class. I had no idea what to expect. I had discussed with Eve the importance of listening to her teacher but she is a two-year-old, so I didn't know if that discussion would fly out of her head as soon as she saw the other kids in the class. Luckily she did so well. She was a little unsure at first and just watched me as I did the moves the teacher showed. After a couple of minutes she was trying everything. There was toe tapping, "blast offs," and crawling around on the floor as various animals. So, you know, everything you would expect from any dance class. It was adorable and Eve had so much fun. Just look at this:

My heart just exploded a little.

I suppose I'd better bring up my new blog design! I'm so happy with it! Hopefully you all like it too! I've added a fun new about blurb to the left sidebar and a new about page. I promise it's worth a read. Unless you are very close friends with me. Then you will be bored. Just kidding, I think it will entertain you nonetheless.
