Nautical Blazers and Flip Flop Betrayal

I bought this striped blazer over a year ago. It was on sale for $20 and I instantly became infatuated with it. Despite this, I never wore it. Not even once, until yesterday. Part of it was that I was unsure of how to style it and part of it was that I became pregnant and it didn't fit for several months. Now I have several ideas for how to wear this blazer and I plan on wearing it often. I love the nautical touch that it adds to an outfit.

Something really tragic happened last week, guys. My flip flop snapped. I'm sure you can all empathize with this. I was just walking to my car, and it just gave out. I wasn't doing anything crazy. I trusted that flip flop and it betrayed me. Luckily I was right next to our home but still, it was an unpleasant surprise. So, flip flop shopping began. I'm not really down with the 99 cent kind from Walmart but I hate paying over $20 for a pair too. Nordstrom Rack came to the rescue. I got one of my favorite brands (Havaianas) for just $13. They have a giraffe print sole and gold strap. So, they're awesome. I know one day they will betray me too and snap when I'm in the middle of a grocery store or someplace equally awkward, but I'm choosing to enjoy the time we have together. What can I say, I'm a flip flop romantic.
