Crochet and Mint
Crochet top: Lauren Ralph Lauren (similar here and here) | Mint jeans: Mavi Jeans (similar here and here) | Embellished sandals: Forever 21 (similar here and here) | Aviator sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Chain head piece: Forever 21 | Floral tassel necklace: Old Navy (similar here) | Bracelets: Forever 21 (similar here)
I've always thought that chain head pieces were gorgeous. I wasn't quite ready to go all the way with ones with jewels hanging in the middle of my forehead, but the one above was a nice way to ease into them. It looks pretty harmless from the front but makes such a statement from the back. The other nice thing is that it was less than $7, which is perfect when you're trying a trend you're unsure about.
Did anyone else get some shopping done over the Labor Day weekend? I know I couldn't resist the deals. Buy one get one free? $5 clearance? Just take my money. I hit up Nordstrom, Forever 21, and H&M before deciding not to shop anymore for fear of making my family homeless. Looks like we'll be living off ramen noodles for a while... Nah, it really wasn't that bad thanks to the awesome deals.
And, um, guys, somehow my baby just managed to get under my chair. My baby who doesn't crawl. I put her down in the middle of the room... not sure how she managed that one. Is she secretly crawling behind my back? Yep, that must be it. Pretty sure a tiny baby conspiracy is going on here...
Love the crochet and mint combo - it is really chic and beautiful!

DeleteLovely top. I have several mint items in my wardrobe and I love to pair them with white and or crochet/lace. Yay for baby conspiracies (insert smile).

I love that head piece. Gorgeous
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteEvery time I see someone rocking a head band or head piece like that, I always ask myself "Can I?" But then I never remember to pick one up when I'm out. I have BIG hair, so idk how it would look. (;
ReplyDeleteYes, I too spent way too much during those dang Labor day sales. Get me every time!
I always asked myself the same question but I just decided to go for it! I think a head piece would look awesome in your hair! Forever 21 has a lot of inexpensive ones, so it makes it less scary to try for the first time.
DeleteLoving your hair in this post, doll- so boho chic. And the whole outfit is lovely- great skinnies!
