Essence of Mermaid
Sequin skirt: c/o SheIn | Black turtleneck: J.Crew Factory
Necklace: Target
I have found a rare but extremely desirable quality in this green sequin skirt. And it's the ability to make you feel just a little like a mermaid. Which I greatly appreciated as it helped get me through my post-Halloween blues. I may not be able to leave the house in a sequined tail and shell bra but I can still feel like I have some mermaid glam going on.
I love when SheIn offers to collaborate with me because I know that they have gorgeous and unique pieces like this for ridiculously amazing prices. This skirt, for example, is just $15.99! Ridiculous. I always make sure to check the reviews to ensure the item is of good quality and to determine the sizing. If there are no reviews, I generally don't take the risk. I wait for someone else to make the gamble and then review it. Because I'm selfish. Jk. Okay, just a little.
I don't know about you, but I'd pay $15.99 to feel like a mermaid any day.

Seems like a golden opportunity was missed to make a pun here. Very Shellfish of you. Great post!

This outfit looks good on you, but everything looks good on you. I never could wear pencil-type skirts because I carry to much weight in my hips. I wonder how you clean a sequin skirt? Your outfit also looks to hot for Hawaii. It must be colder at home.
ReplyDeleteThis skirt is unreal! I saw this on SheIn, and I almost got it. I seriously wish I had now seeing it on you!

The skirt does remind me of a mermaid tail, but in a totally chic and classy way. I love it paired with the all black. So fun! It will be a great piece to wear during the holidays.
