I sure do love a good monochromatic outfit. Especially of the black variety. There is something so undeniably chic about it.
I don't know if you noticed but I switched my little piece of writing to below the pictures in this post. I kind of think that it works better this way. It makes me feel like I have more freedom to talk about whatever I like without feeling like everything I say needs to connect to the pictures that are coming below. Speaking of talking about whatever I like...
Eve is already turning into a little fashionista. Every bracelet (and everything resembling a bracelet) is immediately put on her wrist. Every piece of clothing she comes across becomes wrapped around her shoulders, often with a sleeve trailing behind her as she walks around giggling. Every makeup brush that falls into reach is stroked against her face, hair, ears, and even on mama's nearby leg. Every shoe is handed to mama to be placed on Eve's feet, even if she is already wearing a pair of shoes or if said shoe is an adult 8.5.
Despite this, when it was time to take some pictures of her little grey and purple dress and polka dot leggings, Eve was in no mood. In her defense, she had just woken up from a nap and who likes to be taken outside in almost freezing weather right after they wake up? As soon as she was put on the ground she turned around and started cuddling me. So I definitely didn't mind that we didn't get many shots of her cute outfit.
I sure do love this little girl of mine.
