Pregnancy is a funny thing. It's the only time when people seem to be completely comfortable talking about your stomach. Friends, family, and strangers will comment on the size, shape, and position of your bump. For example, I was washing my hands in a restroom yesterday when a lady asked me how many months along I was. After I told her I was seven months along, she looked down at my belly and said, "Wow." She then asked if it was my first. I told her it was my second and once again she said, "Wow." With that, she walked out the door, leaving me wondering exactly what "wow" meant. Is that a "wow, your belly is surprisingly small," "wow, your belly is the perfect representation of a seven month belly," or "wow, your belly is so ginormous that it's a miracle you can stay upright." Whatever the case, it was an amusing interaction and I'm sure it won't be the last one I have this pregnancy!
