Windowpane Print and Bony Heels

This skirt is the perfect mix of girly and edgy. The A-line silhouette is so feminine but the faux leather keeps it from being too cutesy. I paired the skirt with what is actually a bodycon dress. I'm really loving windowpane prints right now. It's almost like a new, chic variation of plaid or gingham.

Random fact:
I have really bony heels. I know that sounds weird and you're right, it is. There's just one point where they seem to protrude more than other peoples. This isn't a big deal until it comes to wearing athletic shoes. If you look in my Nikes you can see a hole that has been warn in the back of each shoe by this bony nonsense. Unless I put something in my shoe to protect my heel, I get some really nasty blisters when I work out. This is fresh in my mind because I wasn't careful about it when I went to the gym today. I had been in pain while I used the treadmill but just powered through it.

When I got home and took of my shoes, I was greeted by the sight of a slightly blood soaked sock (you're welcome for that image). I might have to work out bare-footed tomorrow...
