White Mules and Three Facts
I think these white mules are pretty fantastic. They're so different from any other shoes that I own and they're pretty gorgeous. I also really appreciated the backless-ness of them last week due to the blistery grossness that was my heel (you can read about that loveliness here.) A couple of things about me (other than my bony heels, of course):
- Growing up, I always wanted to be a doctor. I was pre-med in college and went as far as to take the MCAT (the med school admissions test.) I did really well on it but ultimately decided that I wasn't willing to split my time between being a mother and being a doctor. At least not right now. I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom and most days I still do :)

- My favorite TV show is Community. It's the weirdest, funniest show there is. Each season just gets progressively weirder. I love it. I also have slightly lesser but still very strong feelings for New Girl, Elementary, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
- I consistently get teased for the way I say certain things (since I grew up in Australia and have an Australian accent.) Apparently the way I say "no" sounds like "nor" and someone almost always points that out to me when I say it. Someone once thought that I said "milk" when I tried to order a "coke." I also use unusual phrases like "go for a shower" and " can't be bothered." The funny thing is that my husband uses those now.
Other ways I've worn: chiffon back tee

DeleteLove the outfit! Also, those are cool facts! You remind me of a friend I have. She also took the MCATs and from what I hear could have had her pick of schools, but decided being a mother was more important. Her parents are very tiger-parent Asians so they actually disinherited her for a bit! Power to you moms, I think that is so great <3

Thanks! Good to know I'm not the only one! Fortunately I didn't get disinherited but I some of the people I know didn't agree with my decision. I'm happy with it, though!
DeleteI'm lovin the outfit. So classy and beautiful.
