I've wanted a tulle skirt for a while now. I can't tell you how many times I've added them to my virtual shopping cart and then deciding against them. The price point has just always been too high since it's not really a skirt I would wear very often. As much as I want to wear one grocery shopping, that might be slightly ridiculous. When I came across this blush pink one on sale for $25, I couldn't resist. It's ultra feminine, eye-catching, and fun to twirl in. That's a very important factor. Plus you feel a little bit like a princess in it. The little girl in me is very happy with this purchase.

My weekend was filled with park visits, shopping, lunch with a bestie, church, having deep cooing conversations with my almost-three-month-old, and dealing with a cute, yet dramatic two-and-a-half-year-old. Eve has reached the point where she loves to say "no." She'll say it and then fold her arms and turn her back on us. It happens when we ask her to eat her food, clean up her toys, go potty, go to bed, or whenever she is in a bad mood. It's definitely not my favorite thing. The real problem is that a meltdown is quite likely to follow and if Lily is asleep, it will wake her up. And as I've mentioned before, Lily is not a great napper to begin with. So then I'm left with two cranky little girls. I need to find a Daniel Tiger episode that applies to this exact situation with a catchy little song that I can sing to Eve. I'm sure that will be the magic cure, right? I could come up with a song myself but Eve seems to only takes advice from animated animals, so my song wouldn't hold much weight. Ah, the joys of motherhood.
