Crochet Trim and Road Trips
Sometimes I go into H&M and come out with absolutely nothing. Sometimes I don't even find something that I would like to try on. Sometimes I walk in the store and immediately turn around because I can just sense that I don't like anything. Okay, maybe not that last one (I kind of wish I had that ability though. It would save me a lot of wasted time during shopping trips.) This was not the case on my last trip to H&M. I walked out of there with three tops, a pair of pants, a necklace, and a set of bracelets. In fact there were other things that I had to put back because I was trying to stick to a budget. Be prepared for many an outfit in the next couple of weeks that features at least one item from H&M. Okay, you've been warned.

In case you haven't been able to tell yet, I'm really loving the 70's fashion trends right now. When I came across this sweater top in H&M, I knew it would pair perfectly with my black high-waisted flare jeans. Plus I just couldn't resist the crochet trim.
Today we are in the lovely (and scorching hot) St. George, Utah. I spent most of yesterday packing. It is crazy how much you need to bring with you when you have a toddler and a three-month-old baby. Right as we were about to head out of the door, Lily decided to grace us with a pretty epic blow out. Once we cleaned her up, got all of the twelve thousand bags in the car, and got everyone in they're seats, the car wouldn't start. This had also happened the day before. We jump started it and went to buy a new battery. My hubby came out of Walmart with the wrong battery and had to go back in, return it, and get the right one. An hour behind schedule, we finally got on the road but it wasn't long before Eve decided to yell in an attempt to wake up her little sister. She succeeded. Lily was not pleased by this rude awakening and proceeded to cry for the next fifteen minutes before we finally pulled over to feed her and to take this set of outfit pictures. After another half an hour of Lily crying in the car, she finally feel asleep for the night. In conclusion, I wish that we could go on a road trip every day.
Very cool outfit. It reminds me of something from year 1999 :D
