Leather and Polka Dots

This is one of those outfits that just works so well when you're a mom. It's comfy and you can move freely in it. It's not quite perfect, though, because if you have a child like my two-year-old, she's going to want to unknot your top as often as she can.

You may have noticed that I'm wearing a Fitbit in this post. I've mentioned that I own one in a post from a few months ago. I'm really loving it. It pushes me to be a little more active than I would be otherwise. I always want to make sure that I get my 10,000 steps in. The only real downside is that it's not accurate when I'm pushing a shopping cart or a stroller. Which I do a lot. I'm thinking of making some kind of ankle strap so for times when I won't be swinging my arm. However, even though the steps might be inaccurate, this Fitbit is a Charge HR so it is always monitoring my heart rate which is used to tell me how many calories I burn in a day. This is unaffected by whether I swing my arm or not. So, in summary, it's pretty cool.
