I bought this shirt a couple of years ago and I just keep going back to it. I love the structure of it and the pretty bird/floral print. I kind of consider this shirt to be the cute, fitted, feminine version of the Hawaiian shirts that all older men eventually wear. It seems that there just comes a point in every man's life where he says to himself, "I need a loose, short-sleeved floral shirt." Maybe its a rebellion stemming from years of wearing solid colored button ups. Maybe they're not quite ready to take the plunge and wear casual tees but they're looking for something more comfortable. Maybe it's their way of embracing just a tiny portion of femininity. Maybe it's a way to show that they are fun. I don't know, but the fact that so many men wear those shirts baffles me. And thanks to hipsters, we now get to see these shirts worn "ironically" by a younger generation of males. So I guess I should buy stock in the biggest Hawaiian shirt producer, because those bad boys aren't going anywhere.
