Letters to Lily: Five Months
*Sorry if you came here expecting a fashion post. I just really wanted to fit this post in before Lily turns 6 months next week. I promise there will be a new outfit post up tomorrow.*
Dear Lily,
You are a very calm, happy baby. You smile back at almost anyone who smiles at you. You aren't as chatty as you used to be, you like to just smile and observe.
You are pretty skilled at rolling now. You can easily switch from front to back and from back to front. You're also getting close to sitting on your own. You're still a little too unstable at the moment. Eve thinks it's hilarious when you fall over, though! Don't worry, I always make sure you have a soft landing.
You ate your first taste of food a week ago! I didn't intend for you to have anything until six months, but you had other plans. Your sister was eating a graham cracker and you took it out of her hand. Whenever you see food, you stare at it very intently. Hopefully you will have a better appetite than your sister has!
You don't sleep quite as well as you used to. Getting you to nap is always a fight and you wake up once or twice every night. Let's get that back on track, okay?
You are such a little sweetheart. We love you so, so much. Especially your sister, Eve. She just thinks you are the cutest thing. She loves to hug you and talk to you. We're still working on sharing, but we'll get there.
Love,
Mom

What a cutie! It's always great to have a good little eater! We totally went through our share in rough sleeping patterns, but being constant in our schedule really paid off. Such a pretty girl you and your family are so blessed. (:
ReplyDeleteThanks! It will be so nice if she's a good eater! My oldest was and still is a terrible eater. It's a battle every meal time. I'm not great with the sleeping schedule but I'm working on it. Hopefully things will improve once I get on top of that!
DeleteOh my goodness, what a cutie pie! I love the idea of writing a letter to her. That will be so fun to look back on!
