The Magic of a Denim Jacket

I'm pretty sure I can never have too much denim in my life. I wear it just about every day from Monday through Saturday in the form of pants. And last week I even managed to incorporate it into my Sunday church outfit in jacket form. Denim jackets have never really gone out of style. Originally worn by cowboys, then bikers, then rebels, then by Britney and Justin that showed us that denim-love has its limits.

Now it's worn by anyone wanting to dress something down. A denim jacket and a dress is one of my favorite combinations. The look I'm wearing above is something I could have worn any day of the week by throwing on a pair of sneakers, preferably white. And any outfit that looks good with sneakers is a definite winner to this mama. So, thank you, denim jacket.

Speaking of being a mama, it's Lily's first birthday today! I can't believe my baby is already one! We had a party for her on Saturday and I'll be sharing pics from that on the blog on Wednesday. If you follow me on snapchat @sierraoblad) then you may have seen a sneak peak of the party already!
