Six Halloween Looks (That Aren't Costumes)

I'm guessing that for many of us, this year's Halloween might be a little lackluster. Fewer parties and potentially no trick-or-treating may leave you with little desire to get all decked out in costume. However, if you're like me, you probably still want to get into the holiday a little. If that's the case, then wearing some festive Halloween colors might be the answer! Here are six different looks for Halloween 2020. I linked similar items to what I'm wearing on Amazon that can arrive before Oct 31. Or just search your own wardrobe for these color combos!

1. Orange and Black

This color combo was the first to come to mind when I was brainstorming non-costume Halloween outfits. I preferred a more "orange spice" shade of orange your typical bright orange tone. The leather leggings give it the look a little edge, which feels pretty appropriate for Halloween.

2. All Black

All black for Halloween is a no brainer. And probably something you can easily throw together with what's in your closet. And combat boots and Halloween feel right, amiright?

3. Lime Green and Black

Unless you're me, lime green might not be a color in your closet. It's a more unusual but higher impact color for a Halloween look!

4. Pumpkins

As soon as I saw this shirt at Target, I knew I had to have it. Thanks to the pumpkin patch we acquired when we moved, I guess I'm a crazy pumpkin lady now. This shirt is so cute for Halloween and/or Thanksgiving and you can still grab one from your local Target. And it will work for the rest of fall too!

5. Purple and Black
This one may be the most subtle Halloween color combination. If it's too subtle for you, adding some kind of orange accessory would make this super festive. This look is a nice comfortable one, which may be all you're looking for this Halloween.

6. Black sweats and Orange Beanie
If you're staying in this weekend, this might be the winner for you. Black sweatpants, black sweatshirt, and maybe if you're up for it, an orange beanie.
